Earlier this year, Sneakers unveiled an exclusive preview of the ASICS GEL_NYC Spring/Summer 2023 lineup, featuring eight color schemes. As fall is approaching soon, ASICS is preparing to release an additional selection of GEL-NYC styles, perfect for those that may have missed out. There’s an exclusive women’s edition added to the lineup, showcasing pastel hues. The suede overlays present Aquamarine as the primary shade, complemented by a subtle Mint Green accent on the ASICS logo, as well as a Silver/Grey tone. The midsole is a Pistachio Green atop a white base. This style also comes in Oatmeal/Forest, Ivory/“Clay Grey”, and “Oatmeal”/”Concrete”.

This elevated design consistently pushes the boundaries with its distinctive style. It embraces a remarkable visual concept by delving into the elements inspired by a koi fish. Drawing inspo from the scales of the Amur carp, the color scheme incorporates shades of “Total Orange”, Orange, White, with the White tones concentrated on the cushioned midsole and mudguard. There’s a striking contrast between the Black brush strokes against the White and Orange knitted upper, while the prominent hue accentuates the laces and embroidered Swooshes.

In a nostalgic nod to its past, the silhouette crafted by the legendary Tinker Hatfield pays tribute to a fan favorite and classic known as the “Chili”, which originally made its debut in 2003. This iteration draws inspo from its predecessor, embracing a similar color blocking. The overall tones resemble to the original pair with a handful of noticeable distinctions. One of the biggest differences lies in the Grey suede overlays, which are noticeably lighter in comparison to the leather utilized on the original “Chili” version. Apart from certain elements like the lining, outsole, and tongue label, much of the design is going to evoke some familiarity.

Nike has been actively diversifying its offerings in this category, transforming their timeless icons into top choices for tee time. Among these, the Air Max 1 is introducing some very daring color palettes ever seen on the green. The upcoming Air Max 1 Golf “Play to Live” boldly showcases this moniker across the Swoosh. The messaging is also engraved onto the heel, accompanied by the phrase “Live to Play”. Overall, the color scheme is neutral with splashes of vibrant accents. White mesh and Grey sued dominate a significant portion of the design, they are purposefully overshadowed by the artwork that adorns the mudguard.
5. Tyler, The Creator x Converse Chuck 70 Low “Digital Leopard”

Much like his musical evolution, Tyler’s personal fashion sense has undergone remarkable transformations throughout the past decade. His collaborative efforts have also followed suit. While his partnership has spawned a number of innovative sneakers, their latest offering is paying homage to a timeless classic: the Chuck 70. For his initial Converse collaboration of 2023, Tyler dives into his affinity for wild patterns inspired by exotic wildlife. The twixt has crafted a digital leopard motif releasing in four distinct color variations: “Beige”, “Blue”, “Green”, and “Pink”. These four renditions are enhanced with a co-branded sock liner and outsoles that illuminate the unmistakable “le FLEUR” emblem on one foot and a silhouette of a bellhop on the other.

Due to the recent and unfortunate circumstances involving the passing of the brand’s founder, the original launch of the BornxRaised x Nike SB Dunk Low was rescheduled. But we can get our funds ready for the upcoming release. These Dunk Lows showcase numerous instances of co-branding, like the graphic emblazoned insole, holographic heel tab and outsole. The design displays “One Block at a Time” on the front tongue and “On the Turf” on the back. These same phrases also appear throughout the shoe, complementing embroidered icons and crosshair-like perforations. Designed with Blue suedes, White leathers, and holographic Swooshes, the Dunk is one of the more exciting releases. And with that being said, rest in peace to the great Spanto!
