Sitting in a Rocking Chair, Looking Back at Rihanna's Fenty Puma Collections
Between her Super Bowl performance, pregnancy announcement, British Vogue cover, impending album drop, and upcoming Oscar performance — Rihanna has been busy to say the least.
Today Puma announced that its Fenty collaboration that broke records in the 2010's would be revived, teasing the re-launch with a graphic that simply read "She's Back."
Let's take a trip down memory lane and look at the best moments from the collaborators.
1. The Spring 2018 Motocross Collection
One of the best to come from the partnership, blending Rihanna's on-stage style with the motocross trend that never quite leaves the zeitgeist. Good streetwear, good heels and sneakers, accessories were strong, too.
2. The Marie Antoinette-Inspired Spring 2017 Drop
Lace-trimmed everything, bow slides, and ribbon-detailed baseball caps took center stage for Fenty Puma in 2017. The Manolo-inspired sneaker heel got its best iteration in pastel pink, as well. (Side note: this style still holds its weight. If you see a pair on resell sites, snag 'em.)
3. The Creepers That Dominated 2015
In case you forgot, Fenty's take on the classic Puma Basket was everywhere in 2015. Selling out in under three hours, the style was a best-seller from the collaboration, earning the title of Shoe of the Year from Footwear News.
